Eggless Pineapple Brownie With Yogurt | Brownie Recipe

Last year, I tasted this brownie at my daughter school day function.I love anything with pineapple because of its pleasant smell and taste.Immediately i asked the recipe from my daughter friend's mom who prepared this recipe,kindly she shared the recipe with me  &tried it.

Preparation time :20 mins
Baking time : 25-30 mins
Makes : 9 pieces


Maida - 1 cup
Sugar -  3/4 cup
Unsweetened cocoa powder - 1/3 cup
Baking powder - 1 1/2 tspn
Salt -a pinch
Chopped pineapple - 1/2 cup
Pineapple Essence - 1 tspn
Semi sweet chocolate chips -1/2 cup
Plain Yogurt - 1 cup


*Preheat the oven at 180 °C

*Melt the semi sweet chocolate chips in microwave for 1 min.

* In a mixing bowl add yogurt+sugar.mix it wll until the sugar dissolves.

*Then add cocoa powder+ melted chocolate chips, mix it.
*hen add the flour+salt+baking powder.gently mix it.
 *Finally add the chopped pineapple and pineapple essence,give a gently mix.
 *Then poured into a greased square pan and bake it for 20 -22 mins at 180 °C

 *Once done,cooled it for 20 mins and cut into squares.

Bajra Akki Roti / Bajra Roti | Karnataka Breakfast Recipe

 Akki roti is very popular breakfast in Karnataka.In kannada akki roti means rice pancake.Here instead of rice flour i used BAJRA FLOUR.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 20 mins
Makes : 6


Bajra Flour - 1 Cup
Grated Coconut - 1 tbspn
Grated Carrot - 2 Tbspn
Jeera / Cumin Seeds - 1 tspn
Onion - 1 small (Finely chopped)
Green chillies - 1 (Finely Chopped )
Coriander leaves - 2 tbspn (Finely chopped)
Salt -to taste
Oil - to roast

To temper
Oil - 1 tspn
Mustard seeds -1/2 tspn
Channa dal - 1 tspn


*In a mixing bowl add all ingredients+also add the temper ingredients given under 'To temper '.
 *Adding water little by little and mix it nicely to form a smooth dough.and makes equal size balls.
 *In a aluminium foil grease with oil,take a ball pat it evenly with your hands to a medium thin roti.
 *Heat the tawa,put the sheet on the tawa (that means roti side facing the tawa).cook the roti along with the foil for few mins,then slowly remove the foil.
*Pour some oil all over the roti.cook it becomes slightly brown colour,flip into other side and continue cooking it for few mins .

*Serve with Butter or Coconut Thuvaiyal or Coconut Chutney.


*Originally they used rice flour only but i used bajra flour for a change.

*The dough should be very smooth such that its easy  to spread,

Eggless Chocolate Chip Cookies | Eggless Cookie Recipe

 Preparation Time : 35 mins
Cooking Time : 10 mins
Makes : 9


All purpose flour - 1 cup
Salt - a pinch (Skip it if using salted butter )
Baking soda - 1/2 tspn
Unsalted Butter - 1/2 cup ( Softened to room temperature)
Chooclate chips - 1/2 cup
Vanilla Essence - 1 tspn
Granulated Sugar -1/4 cup
Light Brown Sugar - 1/4 cup


*Preheat the oven to  180 °C for 10 mins.

*Mix the Flour+Salt+Baking Soda well ,Sieve it for twice.

*Line a cookie sheet with parchement paper .

*Take a soften butter in a bowl.

 *Beat it well with whisk till becomes creamy and smooth

*Now add the sugar.
 *Again beat it well until the sugar dissolves,also the mixture becomes light and fluffy.

*It will take max 15 mins.however u beat the mixture ,u will get the soft cookies.
 *Then add the sieved flour mixture,gently mix it.
 *Finally add the vanilla essence and chocolate chips,mix it gently.
 *Now make them 1 inch balls and flatten it slightly,place them in cookie sheet few inches apart from the each other.
*Bake them for 10-12 mins in preheated oven until the edges are become golden brown.

*Let it cool for 5 mins,then remove and cool it completely.


*It can be kept at room temperature in airtight container upto 1 week.

*While placing the cookies in sheet give some place for each other because they will spread as bake.
