Akki roti is very popular breakfast in Karnataka.In kannada akki roti means rice pancake.Here instead of rice flour i used BAJRA FLOUR.

Ingredients
Bajra Flour - 1 Cup
Grated Coconut - 1 tbspn
Grated Carrot - 2 Tbspn
Jeera / Cumin Seeds - 1 tspn
Onion - 1 small (Finely chopped)
Green chillies - 1 (Finely Chopped )
Coriander leaves - 2 tbspn (Finely chopped)
Salt -to taste
Oil - to roast
To temper
Oil - 1 tspn
Mustard seeds -1/2 tspn
Channa dal - 1 tspn
Method
*In a mixing bowl add all ingredients+also add the temper ingredients given under 'To temper '.
*Adding water little by little and mix it nicely to form a smooth dough.and makes equal size balls.
*In a aluminium foil grease with oil,take a ball pat it evenly with your hands to a medium thin roti.
*Heat the tawa,put the sheet on the tawa (that means roti side facing the tawa).cook the roti along with the foil for few mins,then slowly remove the foil.
*Pour some oil all over the roti.cook it becomes slightly brown colour,flip into other side and continue cooking it for few mins .
*Serve with Butter or Coconut Thuvaiyal or Coconut Chutney.
